Reverse engineering makes it possible to speed up the design process, saving time and development costs and is the essential solution when a physical prototype is available and it is necessary to use the three-dimensional mathematical data. In such cases the adopted technique is the reconstruction into a 3D CAD model by means of optic and laser scanners, each according to requirements and the object to be converted.
We use state of the art 3D scanners to obtain clouds of points that are imported into specific software products that make it possible to reconstruct any shape.
