CAD/CAM/CAE - Additive Manufacturing - 3D Printing - Reverse Engineering

Tecnologia & Design organises education and training courses for technicians and designers, young graduates, Companies, Concerns, associations and Schools. The courses teach the most innovative computer techniques for design and production, with teaching methods that alternate theory, practice and experimentation.

Specialisation Courses for companies

The specialisation courses for companies are intended to provide knowledge and professional skills in the main Design, Engineering, Rapid Prototyping & Tooling and Computer Graphics areas. They are held mainly at night and are updated every six months.
Participants shall receive an attendance certificate, that will grant priority attention in the assignment of scholarships associated with an annual internship at Tecnologia & Design.
Please find below a list of specialisation courses for companies: companies

CAD technology for Technical Design

This course is addressed to students, new graduates and operators in the technical sector who wish to learn how to use a Personal Computer and, in particular, the characteristics and potential of 2D CAD technology with regard to technical design and drawing. The course is also useful to learn how to assess market offers against one’s needs in terms of cost and performance, and it is mandatory to access the more advanced specialisation courses.

Advanced CAD technology for Technical Design and Drawing

Operating modalities for 3D modelling XYZ reference systems in virtual space. 3D solid modelling: analysis of solids definition and modification functions in three-dimensional space. 3D visualisation functions. Automatic removal of hidden lines. Elevations Printing of different elevations of the same 3D model. Analysis of the system’s potential customisation functions. Changing the toolbars, analysis of drop-down menu structure and modification modes. Rendering techniques: photorealistic visualisation in colours of a 3D model. Light, shadows, materials, transparency effects an reflections. 3D model creation exercises: creation of an environment with furnishings, with colour elevations. There is a maximum of 2 participants threshold for each work station.

CAD/CAM technology for design and manufacturing

This course is addressed to technicians, mould makers, designers and new graduates who need to know and concretely use the CAD-CAM functions as applied to the mechanical sector. It is useful to operate in the design and manufacturing sectors, with the support of high-performance computer workstations and to acquire considerable technical skills in these areas.
